Disney Magical World 2 is now out :)

You can also watch video playthroughs of it all over on my Youtube channel πŸ™‚

Disney Magical World 2 is coming!

This is cross-posted from my main website–you can read it over there as well!

In general, you guys may know I’m a big fan of the Style Savvy series and well, a Disney fan in general (I mean, just look at my past few entries) so imagine my excitement when I heard we are finally getting Style Savvy 3 (now known as Style Savvy: Fashion Forward) and also received an announcement for Disney Magical World 2.

To quote the press release

Kids can soon check out the new game in the Kirby series, Kirby: Planet Robobot, which launches June 10, as well as two new kid-friendly games coming later this year: Style Savvy: Fashion Forward and Disney Magical World 2.

Style Savvy: Fashion Forward, the third game in the Style Savvy series, gives players a sense of accomplishment by putting them in charge of one of five exciting professions. Players can immerse themselves in a world of fashion by owning a boutique, designing clothes, styling hair, applying makeup or becoming a model. When players make themselves look good, customers who visit their boutiques might start adopting the player’s style. The game includes over 19,000 different articles of clothing, items and accessories to choose from. Players can also learn real-world fashion tips from the Fashion 101 guide. To access Nintendo character-themed clothing and accessories in the game, players can tap select amiibo figures to a Nintendo 2DS, Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL system using the Nintendo 3DS NFC Reader/Writer accessory to trigger an event. Once the event is completed, players can get the special items. The amiibo and Reader/Writer accessory are sold separately. The New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL systems feature a built-in NFC reader for amiibo. Style Savvy: Fashion Forward launches Aug. 19.

Disney Magical World 2, the follow up to the popular franchise, lets players enjoy a variety of new adventures in six Disney-themed worlds, such as exploring the world of Disney Frozen, dancing with Disney princesses or soaring through special Magical Dream events. Players will encounter and interact with well-known characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Ariel, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck. The game launches Oct. 14.

Yep, Style Savvy 3 comes out August 19th. I am so happy I’ll have something to play this Summer. Meanwhile, Disney Magical World 2 is in October 14th and I’m glad I’ll have a head start with SS3 before DMW2 comes out. Similarly, both will be out for a nice amount before the upcoming Pokemon πŸ˜› But I feel pretty busy now…

I’m really hoping to do daily updates for both. While Style Savvy 3 may be a bit less eventful than Animal Crossing, I’m hoping it will still be nice! As for Disney Magical World, you can get an idea of what to expect with my Disney Magical World focused blog. I will be putting all updates for the second game over here on my main site though.

I’ve already gotten a page all set up for Style Savvy: Fashion Forward (as you may have noticed from the sidebar) and hope to get one set up for Disney Magical World 2 once we have the boxart.

I really hope we’ll get all the items that have released in each. Please don’t keep items exclusive to Japan again, Nintendo ;~; <3 Similarly, please don't region lock the games either, Nintendo X__x While I'm still a bit baffled about why Style Savvy 3 is coming about a year and a half after Japan's and nearly a year since Europe's release, I'm just so happy and relieved we are getting it. I can't wait to play.

On Disney Magical World 2

So, after a bit of debate, I’ve decided the best way to do it is to actually post the actual content on my official site. Anything related to the first game will still be put here, but due to the fact that many items will be re-gotten in the second game, it’ll be much easier to keep track on the main website than to try and re-work this site to fit for both games.

At the moment, I have not set up the page for DMW2 due to the fact that we do not have a release date in the US yet, but once it does, there will be a link on the sidebar of my main website (although, most of it will be a placeholder until I actually have the game).

That said, all posts will still be crossposted to the Tumblr blog.

The Trailer for Disney Magical World 2!

If you haven’t watched the trailer/PV yet for Disney Magical World 2, I’d highly recommend doing so before you continue reading as I will be talking a lot about stuff in this trailer along with pictures.

So, to start, I think this image from the end is likely what the worlds will be:
fullworlds
That said, MANY characters seemed to have their own special areas–it may just be not as big as a World in this game, but closer to the hubs in the last game.

Speaking of which, Castleton is huge in this game:

There are so many different areas and it just looks amazing:

Besides the characters from movies, more general characters from the various old Disney shorts will be showing up too!:

At the moment, there is no confirmation if all the characters will be back, but I find it very likely.
dmwbubbles5
I mean, just look.

These were all the characters & series shown in the trailer–a * means they showed a world, a ~ means they showed an area (either for the parade or something else), but no clear idea if it’ll be a new hub world:
-Unsurprisingly, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto πŸ˜›
-Rapunzel & Flynn from Tangled ~
-Elsa, Anna, and Olaf from Frozen *
-Ralph and Venelope from Wreck-it Ralph ~
-Ariel, Flounder, Sebastian, and King Triton from The Little Mermaid *
-Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Captain Hook, Smee, Wendy, John, and Michael from Peter Pan ~
-Stitch, Lilo, Jumba, Pleakley, and Nani (and let’s be honest, Angel will most likely be here too) from Lilo and Stitch *
-Alice & The Queen of Hearts – Alice in Wonderland *
-Jack Skellington, Sally, and Zero – Nightmare Before Christmas ~
-Marie – The Aristocats ~
-The entire Beauty and the Beast Cast ~
-The Entire Winnie the Pooh Crew *
-Snow White and the 7 Dwarves *
-Aladdin, Jasmine, and Genie ~
-Captain Jack Sparrow
-Cinderella and Prince Charming ~

While there’s no confirmations for Captain Jack, Aladdin, and Cinderella, considering they all had worlds last time and it seems at least two of the worlds are returning and being expanded, I find it likely the others will get worlds again. As it is, with such a big hub world I have really high hopes maybe we can get more areas through DLC and DLC continued for much longer than the first game.

Unfortunately, it seems you will be fighting ghosts again, but the actual worlds look even more amazing in this game and it seems there is a lot more to do. Cafes will also be returning with a stage that it seems you can have performers on:
cafeappearances
Due to all the dancing minigames, I feel that will be taken into some account with the stage and performers. I hope there is a bigger item limit for the Cafe this time. Besides the Cafes though, all previous activities will be returning along with more. The only one I’m not sure about is the Card Album, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see it back. Also, it seems Minnie’s outfit I mentioned in the last entry is a possible dress you can get so yay:

Also, if you buy the CD for the theme song of the game, you will get a downloadable code for her outfit:

Which is REALLY cute and I hope there is a way it comes over as I doubt they can do the CD Promotion here unfortunately.

AND THERE WILL BE SO MANY ITEMS:

newitems2
Plus early purchases will be getting a download code for the Frozen Fever costumes and even better: If you have saved data for the first game, you get a gold mickey balloon and a ticket for some pecos which is really really cool. I kind of wish you could transfer some of your stuff too though! (Big thank you to NyaChan AKA ProfessorBel for these lovely extra tidbits!):

Crossing my fingers for online play T~T That is just such a big thing I really hope they do.

No more DLC & Scarce Updates

You may have noticed I didn’t update on April 1st. I wanted to try and give it a bit just incase it could be late, but there has still been no new DLC for the game and as Japan is no longer doing DLC, something tells me we are not receiving any DLC anymore. We have received everything Japan gets so it’s pretty much a matter of nothing else being developed for the game which is disappointing. There are so many items and themes that do not belong to a set and so many areas of the game that could easily be expanded. This is truly a game that could’ve been wonderful and has so many options for more DLC–it’s a shame they won’t ever be taken.

That said, with no new content the blog will come to an end at some point and updates will be scarce. Other than having to make certain items, I’ve pretty much completed the game. I have all the recipes, my cafe has been finished for ages, I have all the medals, I’ve gotten every photo, my card album is complete, etc. The only reason to keep going is for completion sake at this point.

Regardless, the game is still a good game. I just wish they continued with it.

March in Disney Magical World

Tomodachi Life isn’t the only place Winter has ended–Disney Magical World is finally back to its non-decorated scenery which actually feels like a rare sight with how long the holidays last:

It’s kind of refreshing to see.

Regardless, we have a brand new freebie shirt this month:

Casual Donald T-Shirt!

But yes, Spring items are now back, but there won’t really be anything happening until Easter returns ^^; And there’s plenty of time for Easter…

Note: I received the game early from Nintendo. Thank you, Nintendo! πŸ˜€ If you are interested in Disney Magical World, you may want to look into picking it up!

Finally getting the Balloons!

While I sometimes have trouble, I never usually have as much as I did with the Valentine’s Balloons:

Despite their price, they are actually quite rare and considering you can only get them for 2 weeks… well, not fun. If you haven’t gotten them yet, please realize that Valentine’s Day is your last chance to do so!

Also, keep in mind if you do miss them, it won’t really show up at least… The balloons do not show up in any collection due to being in the same category as the Unibearsity Bears. I think a Valentine’s Day set could’ve been really nice, but oh well πŸ™

But yes, the decorations (as I posted in the last entry) and lovely lit up hearts will be going away as well once Valentine’s Day is over:

Note: I received the game early from Nintendo. Thank you, Nintendo! πŸ˜€ If you are interested in Disney Magical World, you may want to look into picking it up!

February in Disney Magical World!

So, February has begun and Winter stuff will be temporarily removed in honor of Valentine’s Day during the first half of the month. Despite that, the biggest change is really just to the centerpiece of Castleton:

You’ll also be able to find a group of Valentine’s Balloons (just a single item) in Scrooge’s shop! I hope it’ll pop up for me rather quickly…

Besides that, a new month brings us some new free DLC–The Casual Stitch T-Shirt:

If you’re still missing Winter and/or Ice stuff, don’t worry too much. You will have from February 15th to the 28th to finish up your collection!

Note: I received the game early from Nintendo. Thank you, Nintendo! πŸ˜€ If you are interested in Disney Magical World, you may want to look into picking it up!

DLC for the New Year

So, it’s the first month and a new year which brings us both our usual free monthly shirt and a special Japanese pack. I’m incredibly happy this came over as I was worried it wouldn’t–Japanese items have been region exclusive in Animal Crossing since Wild World, Tomodachi Life had so many things changed complete, and in Style Savvy: Trendsetters, an entire shop was removed and we still have yet to receive the latest update… Just it usually doesn’t happen. I do not really understand why, but I can’t say enough how happy I am they did release it here. But yes, onto the DLC!

Casual Minnie T-Shirt – Free:

Japanese Cafe Set – $2 – Like all the other recipe packs, it comes with a bunch of stuff. New outfits, a whole new cafe set, recipes, and this set is the only way to get Cafe pictures of Mickey and Minnie in their New Year outfits! You can get pictures of them with it outside too though if you’ve done enough favors for them.

You’re given the main part of the outfit, the wallpaper, and floor to start, but everything else you need to make. The full outfits:

The full cafe layout:

And the Japanese bed:

All the recipes!:

Happy New Year, everyone! <3 Also, everyone will be wishing you a Happy New Year today as well πŸ˜€ Some clips even voiced which is pretty cool! Note: I received the game early from Nintendo. Thank you, Nintendo! πŸ˜€ If you are interested in Disney Magical World, you may want to look into picking it up!

Winter Celebrations

With the holiday decorations gone and replaced by new Winter-themed ones:

Scrooge has officially started stocking the Winter themed/Ice furniture! πŸ˜€ I managed to get the Chair and Table finally which let me get enough combos to get the photo with Goofy, Donald, and Daisy in their winter outfits!:

I still need the Counter and Mickey Ice Statue for the Ice Set plus various Winter clothes (Mostly pants I believe, but also a couple of hats) though so I’m hoping I’ll get them before they are gone. T~T
