Tomodachi Life isn’t the only place Winter has ended–Disney Magical World is finally back to its non-decorated scenery which actually feels like a rare sight with how long the holidays last:
It’s kind of refreshing to see.

Holiday DLC & Continued Progress
So, it turns out more DLC was put out when the Holiday decorations showed up! The alert finally went out today which reminded me to check and well…
1. Christmas Wreath – Free!:
2. Christmas Set – $1.00 – Contains Santa Outfit Recipe, Reindeer Outfit Recipe, and a special episode in Cinderella’s World–“To the Christmas Ball”
As for the episode, other than some holiday dialogue and requiring a Christmas-themed outfit, it’s not very different.
There’s no special prizes either. The song does have a bit of a holiday touch to it though, even if it’s not a completely new song:
Besides that, I’ve gotten two more dishes:
Plus, I have almost all the Winter and Christmas Favors completed–I just need one more of each–both which give me a recipe. I also need to make sure I remember to get my daily present on Christmas for the Christmas Present Recipe–then I’m all set until the Winter furniture shows up in Scrooge’s shop.

Christmas & Winter Favors
So, while I still need quite a few things, I’ve at least managed to finish up with Christmas-themed parties in the game as 6 combos were enough to get Donald, Daisy, and Goofy to show up.
I’ve noticed it’s almost always Mickey and Minnie (with Pluto if Pluto is in said theme) for the low combo group with Donald, Daisy, and Goofy for the higher one. It’s a good thing it didn’t need all 8 combos though as the third Christmas decoration is only available on Christmas Day so it’d be a long wait.
It’ll be a while for Winter as while Winter favors are currently available (until the 14th of December anyway–then they take a break until the 26th…), the Icy furniture will not be for sale until after Christmas so I only have the picture with Mickey and Minnie for now:
I’ve made a good progress on recipes too with just 2 Christmas Recipes left–I still need 3 more for Winter though. The recipes I’ve managed to earn are adorable though so I am excited for the rest:

Unfortunately, those and some other recipes are really all I can get right now. The Table, Chair, Counter, and a decoration will have to wait until they are finally on sale.
Speaking of stuff on sale though, there’s lots of new outfits for the colder weather seeping into Castleton. I still have quite a few to go needing parts for 11 different sets x__x I hope I can get them all before they are gone.
Finally, like Halloween had the purple hue around the center of the plaza at night, for the holidays they are surrounding the area with Snowflakes:

November DLC!
So, it’s officially November. The Halloween decorations are gone and we now have new DLC in the shop!:
Unfortunately, still just a free shirt, but at least that means everyone can get a Casual Winter T-Shirt (which is honestly very pretty).
I’m hoping we’ll see more once the Winter and Holiday events start.

DLC for October & Halloween Update
So, I expected to write an entry sooner, but I still have been unable to get Donald and Goofy to show up! My only guess is I need to have a full combo or, well, at least higher. I only need the wallpaper to finish off the Halloween Set (and just the Counter for the Spooky Set), but I’ve unfortunately had no luck 🙁
Regardless, it’s the first of the month which means new DLC! Unfortunately, it’s just another free shirt this month.

And thankfully, I did finally get the counter in the favors for this morning! …But I still need the wallpaper for the Halloween theme which is what I still need a picture for… (With Spooky, I just need a picture with Jack and Zero outside the cafe. One favor left to go!)
As for stuff that has happened in the last two weeks… well:
I unlocked the rest of the recipes! I also got the rest of the Fall Items.
I managed to make the Giant Carrot outfit:
Which is actually what I needed for the last recipe so I managed to get it just in time!
I also managed to get a photo with Daisy in her Halloween outfit (and another with Minnie):
And even got a picture with Jack inside (he required less than Donald and Goofy, honestly…):
His tallness surprised me a lot:
Plus finally get photos with Grumpy and Happy (and Snow White joined in) and Phil (and Hercules joined in):
Meanwhile, Zero and Jack are now in Castleton (with just one favor left for the special outside the Cafe picture!)
But yes, let’s hope I get the last recipe I need before the month is up and Halloween is over! And that Jack shows up with his last favor soon…

Halloween Progress
I’ve been working hard on getting all the Halloween/Skeleton items in the game (along with all the new Fall stuff as well)! I managed to get a bit discouraged due to my first favor requiring something I didn’t have… but hopefully it shows up again soon. I think I’m ready for it now.
Halloween-wise, I have managed to get 1/3 dishes–I still need the dessert and entree. Skeleton-wise, I only need the dessert dish. They all look appropriately spooky as you could probably guess:
I still need the wallpaper, flooring, counter, and 3 other items (the 1st, 2nd, and 5th on the bottom room) for the Skeleton stuff while for Halloween, I need the wallpaper, flooring, and 5 other items (2nd, 4th, and 6th on row 2 and 1st and 3rd on row 3). Hopefully they will show up soon. The one I missed early on was the Halloween wallpaper 🙁
I do hope there is another small Halloween item for the tables though–the Sullen Pumpkin requires more Rock Candy Rocks and like the Dove Feathers and certain other “common” items, I have awful luck getting them…
I managed to get the Pumpkin King outfit today along with another decoration which is nice. While I still don’t have enough Skeleton items to get Jack to show up, I decided to hold a Halloween-themed party as I still needed to get pictures with the main gang all dressed up for Halloween:
Hopefully Donald, Goofy, and Daisy show up next time! I think I need a few more combos first though.

I was unable to make the full Bumble Bee Pooh costume (no moth scales and no luck getting them T__T) but you can see me make the head and show off the costume in the shop display along with seeing the whole Halloween Quest in this Youtube video of the stream I did today (September 7th):
So excited! It’s nice to see so much DLC. I will update this post next week with the above stuff so look forward to it! Now updated!
It’s also now “Fall” ingame so keep an eye out for new items in Scrooge’s shop and new favors too!

Cards Complete and more Photos
If you read my Tumblr or Twitter, you probably already know about this stuff, but if not… Things have been slow in the game when I mostly am just trying to save up ingredients to make things (including needing to earn 4 more medals X__x) along with occasionally doing favors. I’ve managed to finally unlock the photos for the Fairy Godmother and Marie though:

Goofy Cafe Medal and the final secret wand!
With the Mickey Party done, I was able to use my last Big Bad Mushroom to try a Western Party and well…

I wonder if the fact that it’s a Western themed day helped at all… Regardless, the final wand!:
I still need 3 more Minnie Medals for some of her clothing, but that’s not too bad. However, since I finished getting all the Secret Wands, a special video for everyone!:
Each themed wand has it’s own special “heavy” magic attack and combo attack and I wanted to show off each 🙂 Plus, the appearance of the spell varies based on if you use the normal wands, the Secret Wand, or the DLC wand. While Cinderella’s, Wonderland’s, Aladdin’s, and the Pirates of the Caribbean Wands can only be effective in their specific worlds and the Castleton Dungeon (The power and health will drop to the basic wand otherwise), Minnie’s, Mickey’s, Goofy’s, and Donald’s can be used everywhere.
